The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced that the technical review and reevaluation process of 51 contraceptive products covered by a resolution issued by the Supreme Court has been completed.

The FDA in an advisory, said that the 51 contraceptive products the agency evaluated for months have passed the strict requirements of the technical review and reevaluation process.

Having met the requirements and passed the standards, the FDA is now preparing the recertification of these products.

The recertification will attest to the safety of the products and that these have been determined to be NON-ABORTIFACIENT.

The complete list has been posted in the FDA website and social media accounts.

The FDA also thanked the various sectors which helped the agency ensure that the recertification process is participative and transparent even as we adhered strictly to the methods of science in undertaking this task
